Ken Nelan, along with his wife Jan Soldon, has returned to Milwaukee after an eight year sabatical. He is a Master/Teacher of Reiki having first learned of Reiki and Energy Healing in the mid 1980's in Los Angeles and now has over 25 years of experience.

 

Writing, philosophy, psychology, spirituality, and ethics are among a few of Ken's his passions. He believes strongly in personal responsibility/accountabiliity, ethics, and making a commitment to do the “right thing” and encourages others to do the same.

 

He was ordained a catholic priest in the Independent Catholic Movement in 2001 and is now attached to a small independent order: his spirituality continues to grow and evolve.

 

Introduction to Reiki/Energy, Reiki I and Reiki II are just a few of the classes Ken taught beside Jan Soldon at Pima Community College in Arizona. Both Ken and Jan were instrumental in the development and implementation of the wellness component of the Therapeutic Massage Program program at the college. He has also developed and taught the Business Management for Body Workers and was one of the leading voices of professionalism in that program.

 

Ken is also an experienced meditation guide and retreat master. He now works with his wife in a very successful private practice and has turned to writing in his spare time to help others come to a more complete view of the self, energy, and healing. Ken plans on returning to school in the near future to follow his passion of ethics and psychology.
